Let me tell you a little bit more about myself!
I was born (in 1993) and raised in the Netherlands, I moved to North Vancouver in 2018 for the love of my life, and I absolutely love living here! My husband and I have been together for 10 years and met while traveling through South East Asia in 2015.
Photography has been a part of my life since I was 12, when I bought my first camera with saved pocket money. I honestly can't remember my life without taking photos.
After college I traveled the world for a few years, I have traveled to over 35 countries! It was during these travels that my photography evolved. I began to focus on capturing real, unposed moments—the raw, candid shots that truly tell a story. My approach is documentary-style: I want to capture the essence of life as it happens, preserving those authentic, meaningful moments.
When I’m not behind the camera, I’m usually enjoying a glass of wine or a cup of coffee with friends, hiking, spinning, camping, or trying a new hobby. My biggest love is my husband, but besides that I love my dog, photography, being creative, nature, and family. Being far from my own family has made me appreciate the importance of photos—they help us preserve and share the moments that matter most.
